In association with InAVate magazine, Screen Technology Ltd has returned from the 2006 IBC exhibition, in Amsterdam where it displayed ITrans, the world’s first technology to provide high resolution, large format display screens with superior picture quality.

The event, which took place from the 8th-12th September, saw over 12,000 exhibitors demonstrating all the latest technologies in the entertainment industry to over 40,000 industry professionals.

Taking centre stage at the exhibition was Screen Technology’s ITrans Monolithic display systems, which, as expected, attracted a lot of attention from the end users keen to harness the benefits of display systems that combine high resolution with video quality images coupled with pin-sharp clarity and unparalleled scaleability.

At the exhibition, ITrans was shown on ‘camera’ demonstrating its flexibility when used as a studio backdrop with large amounts of artificial lighting.

For the first time in Europe, the company also demonstrated ITrans Modular, the latest development of the ITrans concept, with even more technical advantages in terms of portability and versatility. Applications range from control rooms to newsrooms, shopping malls to airports and convention centres to retail store windows.
